Nevin Sayre completed the first-ever wing foiling journey around Martha’s Vineyard on Friday in a hard-fought, six-hour run. Sayre, son of Possible Dreams co-founder Harriet Hart Sayre, honored his family’s charitable legacy by raising over $20,000 for MV Community Services. Read more

This comes as evidence mounts that the structure previously at the address was over 100 years old when demolished, which would have required referral to the MVC. Read more

Quote of the Day
“Until there is new evidence, I think it is safe to assume that the bites are from lone star larvae. The best prevention against the larvae is to wear permethrin-treated socks. You can buy permethrin spray and treat your socks yourself, but I prefer to buy pretreated socks from Insect Shield, since the treatment lasts through a whole season’s worth of washing.”
—Richard Johnson, former director of the MV Tick Program, on the recent rash of itches
