Quote of the Day
"There were, at times, notable confusion about the right of way proceeding through the intersection."
— Patrick Snyder with MassDOT explaining what he saw while visiting Five Corners

Hot Topic Comment
"My mom, Ruth Stiller, used to tell how the Town of Tisbury was offered the old VA Hospital (where the MV Museum is now) for $1.00! I’m not sure what year that was, but the idea was to put the town offices there. Obviously it was turned down - thought to be too far outside of town. I sometimes wonder if that’s one of those 'if only' scenarios?"
— Gayle Stiller comments on our coverage of a recommendation for a new town hall in Tisbury

Hot Topic Letter
"A small number of property owners who abut the TTOR refuge are seeking to abolish OSV access to these beaches. They have hired attorneys to represent them in public Edgartown Conservation Committee meetings. They seek to obfuscate and conflate various grievances they have with the TTOR to achieve their goal of eliminating OSV access."
— Rich Thompson writes to us in support of over-sand vehicle use on Chappy
