The parent company of the Cape and Islands radio is selling their studio on Water Street in Woods Hole, close to the Steamship Authority terminal. GBH says the local NPR station is operating at a deficit. But members of the station are not pleased. The founder of CAI disagreed with the decision and says it’s a mistake. Read more

After the developer of 97 Spring Street published planning board members' texts, Tisbury has placed board administrator Amy Upton on leave pending review. Upton's texts included criticisms of the building project and town officials, though an official explanation is yet to come out. Read more

Oak Bluffs special town meeting voters grilled officials yesterday on the loss of $332,000 in a wire transfer intended to fund affordable housing. Town administrator Deborah Potter shared that the FBI recovered $80,000, which is currently inaccessible due to an ongoing investigation. New security measures are also being implemented. Voters approved covering the loss with town funds despite concerns. Read more
