The Minute:
It was an epic matchup between the Vineyarders and Whalers at Fenway Park on Tuesday. Sadly, Nantucket snuck away with a victory, but this Vineyard team has nothing to hang their head about. It was a great game and one they, and us, won’t forget. |

Rumble at Fenway |
 |
The Vineyarders faced heartbreak at the 44th Island Cup, falling to the Nantucket Whalers 22-14 in an overtime thriller at Fenway Park. Nantucket capitalized in overtime with a touchdown and two-point conversion, while the Vineyard's final efforts fell short inside the 10 yard line. Despite the loss, the showdown at the historic ballpark will be cherished by families, players, and coaching staff. Read more |

The extension will still be reviewed by the Martha’s Vineyard Commission. Read more.
