The high school varsity hockey team suffered their first loss of the season by a score of 2-1 against Barnstable High School at home last night. After a scoreless back-and-forth first period, Barnstable’s Braden McCarthy opened the scoring, with Vineyard’s Sol Donnely equalizing late in the second period.
