Tune into Gordon Ramsay's "Next Level Chef" next Thursday and you'll see Ryan Scanlon, MVRHS class of '19, taking on the competition. Scanlon began his culinary career at Alchemy in Edgartown after cold calling local restaurants. He told The Times that an apperance on Ramsay's show was an opportunity he couldn't pass up. Read more

The high school's varsity boys hockey team capped off a long-running fundraiser this weekend in a special tournament benefiting the MV Cancer Support Group. The boys came up short against Dover-Sherborn, but coach Matt Mincone said the real win was in raising money for a good cause. Read more

Weather woes |
Windy weather has led to numerous ferry cancellations today, and there were even some hindrances to air travel. Over 70 trips were canceled on the Vineyard route in the past few days because of the weather. Island businesses also felt the impact of the cancellations. Read more
