Generations of Wampanoag heritage and talent were on display this weekend at the 2024 Aquinnah Powwow, held at Aquinnah Circle. Participants welcomed tribal nations, held a ceremonial prayer, and honored war veterans. Tribal members also celebrated with crafts and clothing. Read more

Waiting for Aquinnah
The Steamship Authority’s newest vessel on the Vineyard route is set to join the roster this fall, several months later than initially thought. The Barnstable, which will sail on the Nantucket route, will be tested this month before joining the lineup. Read more

Ravizza indicted in Plymouth
Jared Ravizza, who allegedly attacked four moviegoers and two McDonald’s employees, has been indicted on two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, one count of assault to murder, and one count of indecent exposure in Plymouth County. This raises the case to Plymouth Superior Court, and an arraignment date has not been set. Read more
