Public health issues don’t stay within language barriers. In the midst of COVID, public school staff started the Communication Ambassador Partnership of Martha's Vineyard, known as CAP. They’ve worked to distribute public health information in Brazilian Portuguese, and have trained 10 interpreters. Now they've expanded to match high schoolers with college- and career-planning mentors.
