A coaching shortage Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School has been struggling with retaining coaching staff, partially because of the pool of prospective coaches to draw from, and partly because the hours — with commuting off-Island — can be a challenge. A whale spottingNew England Aquarium reports that over 30 North Atlantic right whales were spotted in shipping lanes near Nantucket. Speed restrictions were set in place for local boaters as a result. The spotting comes as Vineyarders got a firsthand look into a tragedy that has been unfolding down the East Coast with more and more right whales succumbing to ship strikes and entanglements. for sandwiches, pizza, burgers, toast, pasta, chips, and much more.
