Moakley wins despite Faria's Vineyard sweep

With the support of nearly 80 percent of Falmouth voters, Thomas Moakley defeated Islander Arielle Faria in Tuesday’s primary despite Faria sweeping the Vineyard. We had reporters on the scene of both campaigns last night. Read more and watch a video of Moakley's acceptance speech here.

Quote of the Day

“The lone star tick is not a savior of innocent animal life. Getting alpha-gal syndrome is in no way ‘good news,’ and if you think that it is, you show your true ignorance of this condition and the effects on people who suffer —  yes, suffer —  from this affliction.”
—Andrew Keenan denounces the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ letter on acquired meat allergy
