Edgartown School principal retiring Edgartown School principal Shelley Einbinder has announced her retirement, effective July 1. This follows the resignation of assistant principal MaryAnn
Bartlett, effective June 30. Meantime, it's been a tumultuous few months at the Edgartown School with parents filing a number of complaints against the administration. Read more here.
Short list for high school architects Martha's Vineyard Regional High School has narrowed down its list of architects for its planned renovation or rebuilding project. Next steps for the project's design select panel include ranking the three architecture firms this month, before choosing one to go with. Schematics and project costs could be available late next year. Read more here.
Oak Bluffs candidates There are four candidates vying for two seats on the Oak Bluffs select board: Emma Green-Beach, K. Mark
Leonard, Kris Chvatal, and William Cleary. They answered our pressing questions, and you can read those responses here. Tonight is the Oak Bluffs candidates forum at 7 pm at the Oak Bluffs library. Voters go to the polls on April 11.
MEETINGS The Oak Bluffs zoning board of appeals meets at 6 pm on Thursday. Here is the agenda. Also, the Chilmark candidate forum will be hosted by the League of Women Voters of Martha’s Vineyard at 6 pm on Thursday. Here is the information.
