Visiting Vet Sometimes your pet swallows something that isn’t quite considered edible. Maybe it’s a stray sock, a rubber band or hair tie, or some loose change. Whatever your dog eats mistakenly, it’s important to act fast and watch for signs of intestinal blockage. For the most part, if folks respond to the problem quickly, the survival rate for pets who swallow foreign objects is high. Read the latest Visiting Vet column, and learn all you need to know about gastrointestinal foreign bodies.
