Worker housing scrutiny
The planning board in Tisbury recently decided to refer a workforce housing development planned for the offshore wind industry to a higher regulatory board, at the same time calling out the town’s building inspector. Jaw-dropping
The wife of Peter Benchley, the author of the novel that led to the blockbuster classic "Jaws" franchise, was in Tisbury this week in celebration of the novel’s 50th. Some were inspired to a life of oceanography through the book, some turned to shark hunting. Read more about Benchley’s work here.

A 'dubious' distinction
All fun and games for the Menemsha Pond Racing as they celebrated their recent winners. There’s always the award for the Marjorie Daingerfield, the winner in the community race that has all kinds of good vibes. Read that here.
