Pay bump despite lower grade SSA general manager Robert Davis received his annual review from the ferry service’s board and the results were mixed. Some members
gave high marks, while other scores didn’t even touch 70 points out of 100. Davis also received a pay bump. Read more here.
Volley at pickleball meeting The Chilmark planning board is considering either a moratorium on pickleball court construction, or an outright prohibition. Yesterday, the board discussed input from their legal counsel on the process necessary for a moratorium. This was prompted by resident concerns about the sport causing a "racket." Islanders remember a legend Geoff Currier heard from a number of Island musicians and friends of Jimmy Buffett, and we get a good picture of the writer, singer,
