You’re gonna need a bigger park According to statistics from Sharks general manager Russ Curran, per-game and seasonal attendance for the baseball team has more than doubled since 2019. Among other factors, Curran points to the impact of changing leagues in 2019, after which the Sharks attracted more players from bigger college teams. Read more here.
School budget up Next week, you can share your thoughts regarding MVRHS’ proposed $27.02 million budget. However, work is underway to try and decrease this amount, so we may see a slightly lower amount come Monday. Read more here.
Don’t call it ping pong Two table tennis players from Martha’s Vineyard competed recently at a national team’s competition in Washington, D.C. Over a thousand players were on hand, some of them the best players in the world. Our two Vineyard reps fared pretty well, placing within the quarter finals of their division. Read our story here.
