Quote of the Day "There was that energy of like, ‘You know what? It’s one night. I’m gonna get on the dance floor and totally make a fool out of myself,’ [...] It was so exciting to be surrounded by all these people that you’ve gone to school with for four years that you haven’t seen in this light." —Senior and prom committee member Violet
MacPhail reflecting on last weekend’s MVRHS Class of 2024 prom Hot Topic Comment "Thankfully, the various Edgartown departments were on top of rebuilding South Beach as the majority of the island visitors need a beach to go to, unlike those Up Island beaches which are closed to the public. It is shameful that all the beaches are not open for everyone." —Bob Murphy on the repairs done for South Beach Hot Topic Letter "We laughed, cried, and relaxed, but most importantly, we somehow departed stronger than we were, which, after 20-plus years of friendship, we didn’t think was possible." —Dianne Braley on her off-season visit to the Vineyard

Have Faith: Our happiness, intertwined Mindfulness is a meditative practice of observation, sensing how joy, fear, sorrow rise and fall. It can lead to wisdom. "Once you are making decisions out of wisdom, not out of fear, you can decide how you want to be in the world, and what actions to take." says Jill De La Hunt. Gain more insight here.
