Quote of the Day "Together, we can turn the tide on food insecurity on Martha’s Vineyard." — Dhakir Warren, executive
director of the Martha’s Vineyard Boys and Girls Club, on the grand reopening of the Edgartown Stop & ShopHot Topic Comment"People are as tired of this already beaten to death decision as they are of the usual liberal hypocrisy on any topic– from grass to traffic jams to Trump to rooting for the wrong side in an existential war. 10% voter turnout is TERRIBLE and shows people do not care one way or the other." — Jackie Mendez reflecting on voter turnout for West Tisbury’s election voting in favor of grass fieldsHot Topic Letter"It is easy to state the problem, but coming up with the solution should be the goal. Should this be addressed by all Island towns, acting in concert to solve the problem of our business community? We all understand, or should understand, that the goal is to establish a healthy, thriving, year-round economy, but how do we do that?" — Elaine and Howard Miller on supporting opinions in the MV Times editorial pages
