Turnkey on Duncan Close,
Edgartown SponsoredExcellent turnkey Edgartown opportunity! This warm, post-and-beam, three-bedroom home is conveniently located in the Birnam Woods association, tucked back off Edgartown - West Tisbury Road. The property is easily accessible to Edgartown village, the bike path, Morning Glory Farm, Vineyard Golf Club, and South Beach by way of Meetinghouse Road. The house had tasteful updating and it features an open-concept first floor, which offers a kitchen, a dining room, and a living room with a fireplace that opens onto the deck, plus a full bathroom. The second floor has the
primary bedroom and a generous guest bedroom with a shared bathroom. The third floor has another bedroom with a bonus hangout space that is perfect for kids. The property has access to the association tennis, and it offers a solid rental history. The home is connected to the town sewer, allowing for expansion up to 7 bedrooms. A pool is also a possibility within R60 setbacks. This is an inviting, move-in ready home waiting to welcome family and friends as your personal Island retreat or as a solid rental
investment.

Quote of the Day "We see a pathway where Beach Road Weekend can be successful for audiences and as a vehicle for good, but not with the extra financial challenges presented by the Vineyard’s unique location." — Beach Road Weekend co-producer Joe Kosin said on behalf of the festival’s move to Cape CodHot Topic Comment"Overpopulation is already pushing the Vineyard to the brink. We don’t need a housing bank bill. Just say no. Keep Our Island Green." — Dan Larkosh wrote, in response to the beginning of the Red Arrow Community Housing project development Hot Topic Letter"What is happening in Gaza is nothing less than genocide. How dare
our government hide behind the suggestion that because Hamas might use somebody as a human shield that Israel has a right to destroy every man, woman, and child, and building and farm field." — Linda Cohen, on the U.S. decision on, what she calls, the "U.N. genocide case"

I love that the Edgartown library hosts International Film Night (with subtitles). Tonight they’re screening "Brighton 4th," a 2021 Georgian film nominated for Best International Feature Film. It’s a family drama and who can’t relate to that? Free. 6 pm. –C.B.

Pins and needlesDo you struggle with depression, back pain, migraines, or other health issues? According to Island acupuncturists, needles can help. Acupuncture stems from traditional Chinese medicine, and it involves the insertion of thin needles through the skin. Vineyard Haven’s Drift Acupuncture owner Jodie Treolar says this treatment is believed to "harmonize the body, mind, and spirit."
