Record year for deer coolerA record 90 deer were stored in the Community Deer Cooler last year, in a stronger deer-hunting season than 2022. Bow hunter Brian Athearn of M.V. Hunt Club attributes this to concern over alpha-gal syndrome, as well as bow

He’s on fire Josh Lake is now the record holder at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School for most points scored in a single basketball game. Lake was on fire, missing only five shots the entire night and scoring 46 points. It was the last game of the season, as the boys basketball team has their first playoff game on Saturday. Scavenging while school's out Residents around the Island may have seen some high schoolers in hockey jerseys running around yesterday. It was part of the
MVRHS hockey team’s annual scavenger hunt held during vacation week. The theme behind yesterday’s hunt was to thank people around the Island on the job, whether they be service workers, first responders, or a judge. Read that story here.
